The Canadian Eventing Committee has elected Peggy Hambly, previously Secretary of the Committee to replace Alan until November 2006. The Canadian Eventing Congress will elect a new Chair at its annual meeting as per the Canadian Eventing Committee’s Terms of Reference. Alan and Peggy will work closely together during this transitional period. About Canadian Eventing Canadian Eventing is a committee of Equine Canada responsible for the sport of eventing in Canada from the grassroots to the international level. The Canadian Eventing Committee is comprised of 12 members, including two rider representatives elected by the Elite Riders Association. Directed by the Strategic Plan for Eventing, all Eventing activities are administered by this committee via six sub-committees with the support of an Eventing Manager based at the Equine Canada office in Ottawa. Communiqué pour publication immédiate Le Comité de Concours Complet Canadien aura une nouvelle présidente jusqu’en novembre 2006 Ottawa, Ontario, le 20 avril 2006 – Le Comité de Concours Complet Canadien annonce que Alan Law a quitté son poste de président pour des raisons personnelles. C’est l’ex-secrétaire du Comité, Peggy Hambly, qui a été élue pour le remplacer jusqu’en novembre 2006. Conformément au mandat du Comité de Concours Complet Canadien, il y aura élection d’un nouveau président lors de son assemblée annuelle. Alan et Peggy travailleront en étroite collaboration au cours de cette période de transition. Quelques mots sur Concours Complet Canadien Concours Complet Canadien est le comité de Canada Hippique responsable du sport de concours complet depuis le niveau de base jusqu’au sport international. Concours Complet Canadien comprend douze membres dont deux représentants sont élus par l’Association des cavaliers d’élite. Tel que le prévoit le plan stratégique du sport, toutes les activités de concours complet sont régies par ce comité via six sous-comités, avec le soutien de la directrice du concours complet basée dans les bureaux de Canada Hippique à Ottawa.
